Dr. Schoeffler was born and raised right here in Pearland, Texas. During high school he worked at Pearland Animal Hospital as part of the kennel staff and as a technician assistant. Dr. Schoeffler then went to Texas A&M University to study Animal Sciences and graduated with a B.S. in 2003. During that time, he was a member of the Corps of Cadets and the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band. He went on to study Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M, earning his DVM degree in 2008.
After his veterinary training, Dr. Schoeffler completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Iowa State University. From there he moved to Anchorage, Alaska to work at a 24-hour Primary Care and Emergency Small Animal Hospital. He moved home to Pearland and rejoined the team at Pearland Animal Hospital in April of 2011 and took ownership in 2013.
Dr. Schoeffler was honored as the Best Veterinarian in Pearland in 2012 and elected Chairman of the Pearland Chamber of Commerce in 2017. In 2020 Dr. Schoeffler was elected to serve as a Trustee on the Pearland ISD School Board. He finds time to serve through the Pearland Lions Club, RISE Mentoring, Robert Turner College and Career High School, the Texas Calvary Disaster Response Team, the NBCEA, and his growing family.
