Dr. Natalie Dadgar joined Pearland Animal Hospital February 3, 2020. She grew up in Double Oak, TX but has lived in the Houston area since 2018. Dr. Dadgar received her bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (summa cum laude) in 2015 and earned her DVM at OSU (magna cum laude) in 2018. Dr. Dadgar was involved in leadership during her time in veterinary school, and served as a CVHS Ambassador, President of the Surgery and Anesthesiology Club, and as a member of the veterinary honor society, Phi Zeta.
Dr. Dadgar has a passion for general practice, but her specific interests include surgery, emergency medicine, and ophthalmology. She has recently become interested in exotic pet medicine (birds, reptiles, and occasionally small mammals) and is participating in continuing education to increase her scope of practice to include these species. Dr. Dadgar is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and enjoys mentoring and teaching students in pre-vet degrees and those already in veterinary school through shadowing.
Dr. Dadgar absolutely loves living in Nassau Bay with her husband and pets. They have two dogs- a blue heeler and a sheltie mix, and one cat, a Persian that Dr. Dadgar rescued from her previous clinic. In 2020, Dr. Dadgar adopted a large Sulcata tortoise, and her family loves their prehistoric lawn ornament. Her personal interests include dog training, horseback riding, kayaking, music, reading, and travel.
